Frome Street Surf Life Saving Club is a new venue, which will be open for just four nights (November 20–23, 2014), and will be created by transforming Stratco City Beach into a playful sandcastle wonderland of cool drinks, relaxed dining, reclined movie viewing and summer sounds.
From 5pm each night and 3pm on weekends, visitors to the FSSLSC will be able to feel the sand between their toes as they sip on wines from Alpha Box and Dice and feast on Aussie Fish and Chips from the guys at Golden Gullet. The Golden Gullet is the brainchild of the enigmatic Maxwell Mason best known as the Maître D’ for Lola Pergola’s First Fruit Dinners.
DJs will play sets until just after 9pm when the short film screenings will commence. Thirty films will screen over the four nights and the closing night will also feature a showcase of short films funded by the South Australian Film Corporation. After the film screenings the Club will remain open until 1am.
Limited free entry is available before 7pm but to be guaranteed entry make sure you buy a ticket!
