Internationally renowned Australian artist and generous supporter of Shorts. David has been extremely kind in donating a dedicated painting each festival to be auctioned off during the year. In early Festivals, the painting was used as the artwork for the festival poster.

Mr David Lightfoot
Renowned Australian film producer and one of the most experienced and accredited Production Executives in the country. Past credits include Rogue, Wolf Creek, and Blame. David was one of the three founding directors of the Festival and served as a board member until recently. He is currently a board member of Advantage SA.

Paul is the Managing Partner of highly respected firm of chartered accountants Kennedy & Co. Kennedy & Co are also a very important sponsor of the festival offering in-kind accountancy services.

Deb Budich
Deb is the Director and owner of DBusiness Events. Deb has provided event management services to both the public and private sectors and has organised street parades, launched buildings, technical conferences, awards nights and tours through the outback.
Yuko Nakayama
An accomplished arts and communications consultant. Yuko has worked with major cultural events including Sydney Film Festival and WOMADelaide and with leading industry organisations such as Arts Projects Australia and the Australia Business Arts Foundation.
John MacPhail
John is a Partner with Finlaysons where he heads the Intellectual Property & Technology practice. He has over 25 years’ experience working as a lawyer in London, Sydney and Melbourne and is also a director and deputy chair of The Hospital Research Foundation.
Alison Wotherspoon
Head of Screen Production, Senior Lecturer, Department of Screen and Media at Flinders University, Alison began her career in television at the BBC, worked at Film Australia, the ABC, and SBS and studied Producing at AFTRS.
David Ngo
David has been a filmmaker for over a decade and worked on a wide variety of projects, including the ABC’ s The Adventures of Figaro Pho, SBS’s My Generation and the American/Australian feature film Broken Hill. David is also the founder of post-production house The Cutting Room and production company Projector Films, which is currently in pre-production on the dark thriller One Eyed Girl directed by Nick Matthews.
